Summer Camp Information
In order to eligible for Summer Camp Registration, every child must have a 2025 resident ID card to register. ID cards will NOT be sold day of registration. Please plan accordingly. Mark your calendars - Camp registration will be at 6:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 25 for Explorers Camp (ages 12-14) and then 6:00 PM Tuesday, March 4 for Elementary School Aged Camp (ages 5-11). 2025 Painted Traffic Boxes Contest
The Town of Amherst Arts & Culture in Public Places Board (ACPPB) is excited to announce the 2025 Painted Traffic Boxes Contest. This is our fifth year painting the Town of Amherst’s traffic boxes. All artists interested in making their mark in the Town of Amherst should apply! Wouldn’t it be great to have an intersection identified by your painted traffic box design? The theme for our contest is Amherst is Arts and Culture. The deadline for design submission is April 6, 2025. The ACPPB will select the six lucky submissions. Senior Tax Exemption Application Event - Feb. 20

Winter Parking Ban
The Town of Amherst has an overnight winter parking ban in place from November 1, 2024 - April 1, 2025. Do not park vehicles on Town streets between the hours of 1 AM and 7 AM.
