Amherst Family Assessment & Support Team
The Family Assessment and Support Team (FAST) offers a variety of services to youth and families residing in the Amherst Central School District. FAST services include, but are not limited to, family counseling, mental health counseling, afterschool activities, treatment for eating disorders and Gambling addiction, forming a block club and finding an apartment or securing a home. Erie County Council on the Prevention of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Services
Coordinates SafeHomes and parent education programs for this substance abuse prevention and referral agency.

School Intervention Service & Family Treatment Program
The School Intervention Service (SIS) is an integrated service for in-school youth who are experiencing school difficulties, youth who are in family crises, and youth people who have left school before graduating. The Family Treatment Program of Amherst is designed to help families meet the challenges of modern life.

Speaker's Bureau
The Amherst Youth Board Speaker's Bureau is one way of keeping the community informed. Our presentations cover a wide variety of topics and there is no charge for most.
Sweet Home Family Support Center
The Sweet Home Family Support Center serves any individual or family in the Sweet Home Central School District. It is meant to be a "lifeline", reaching out to strengthen and support families. Students and families living in the Sweet Home Central School District can receive coordinated human services through this program.
The Family Support Center is a link to community-based human services in a convenient school setting with flexible hours.
