2026 Painted Traffic Boxes Contest
The Town of Amherst Arts & Culture in Public Places Board (ACPPB) is excited to announce the 2026 Painted Traffic Boxes Contest. This is our sixth year painting the Town of Amherst’s traffic boxes. All artists interested in making their mark in the Town of Amherst should apply! All submissions for consideration are to be patriotic in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. The deadline for design submission is Sunday, March 8, 2026.
