MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY TO BE HELD MONDAY, MAY 30
The Town of Amherst Veterans Committee, in coordination with numerous partners, will hold a Memorial Day Remembrance and Wreath Laying Ceremony at 1 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2022 at the Williamsville Cemetery, 5402 Main Street, Williamsville, NY 14221. All are welcome to attend. This year’s guest speaker is AMVETS Post #24 Commander Debbera Ransom, a U.S. Army Military Police Veteran and coordinator for the Wreaths Across America Program at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cheektowaga. The featured speaker is Jack Michel, a Vietnam combat veteran with the 3rd Division, 7th Brigade Marine Corp and member of George F. Lamm Post #622.
