Citizen Preparedness Corps - Training Event Jan. 11
The Citizen Preparedness Corps gives residents the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster or emergency, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible to pre-disaster conditions. The next in-person training in Amherst will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Road, Amherst. Use the link below to register.

Senior Tax Exemption Application Information
The Town Assessor's Office will accept tax exemption applications and answer questions at the Senior Center on Thursday, January 16 from 1pm-4pm and on Thursday, February 20th 9am-12pm. For additional information, see attached announcement or call 716-631-7038.

Town Holiday - MLK Day Jan. 20
Town of Amherst Offices, including Town Court, will be closed on Monday, January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The holiday will NOT impact Modern Disposal garbage and recycling pickup schedule.

Town of Amherst Offices, including Town Court, will be closed on Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. The holiday will impact Modern Disposal garbage and recycling pickup schedule. If your collection falls on or follows this day, your pick up will be delayed one day with Friday's pick up done on Saturday.
