Hunting and Fishing Licenses

Hunting season runs from September 1st (of the current year) through August 31st (of the following year). Anyone wishing to renew a hunting license needs to provide an old hunting license or a training certificate and a New York State driver’s license. New licenses may be obtained by presenting proof of training certificates and a valid driver’s license.

Fishing season runs for one year from the purchase date of the license. Please consult for current fees. Also visit the website for categories of individuals who may hunt or fish for a reduced fee.
